Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) is issued by AI智能科技 (“we”, “us”), operator of Deep Scanning. It explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information, and the rights you may have. Please read it before use. If you do not agree, stop installing or using the application immediately.

Last updated: 27 October 2026 Effective: 27 October 2026 Operator: AI智能科技
Notice: Use of the application constitutes that you have read and agreed to this Policy. This Policy does not guarantee absolute security of information, completeness or accuracy of search results, timely delivery of notices, or permanent retention of local data. The application processes publicly accessible information and information you provide as necessary. It does not provide cracking, intrusion, or access to non-public data.

1. Introduction and definitions

1.1 This Policy applies to accessing, downloading, installing, or using Deep Scanning (the “Application”) and related official pages through any device, operating system, or app store. Technical processing terms may still apply if you open the Application only briefly and local storage, cache, network requests, or operational logs are created.

1.2 “You” means a natural person who downloads, installs, accesses, or uses the Application. “Public information” means information obtainable by the public without logging in, cracking, or bypassing access controls. “Device identifier” means technical identifiers needed to distinguish devices, complete API calls, and display ads; it is not necessarily your real-world identity.

1.3 The Application is a public-username lookup tool for finding public profiles that may relate to a username you enter, with optional change alerts. It is not a background-check firm, credit bureau, or law-enforcement agency, and it does not provide legal advice.

2. Scope

2.1 This Policy governs our processing of information in operating the Application. Third-party websites, social platforms, operating systems, app stores, advertising networks, and analytics services have their own rules. We are not responsible for their practices.

2.2 If you open third-party links from the Application, your activity on those pages is governed by the third party. Review their policies before submitting information to them.

2.3 The Application does not require account registration and does not build profiles around your legal name, ID number, or phone number. The absence of registration does not relieve you of lawful-use obligations.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you enter or configure, including usernames for search; notification email, webhook URL, and messaging channels if you enable Watch; language and similar preferences; and selected platforms.

3.2 Local information. Search history (such as username, hit summaries, and time) is stored on your device by default, in limited quantity. You may delete a record on its page. Uninstalling usually clears local data, but OS cache or backups may retain remnants. We cannot guarantee complete erasure.

3.3 An anonymous device identifier may be generated for API access, abuse prevention, and association with Watch lists. It is not bound to your name or store account, but may still correlate with activity on the same device.

3.4 Technical logs. Requests to our servers may record IP address, time, device type, approximate region, and status for security and operations. Logs generally do not contain a full copy of your search content, but may be retained as needed to investigate abuse or security incidents.

3.5 We do not actively collect your name, ID number, precise geolocation, contacts, photo library, microphone recordings, or biometric data. If a system permission appears on a given OS version, it should be used only as needed for the relevant function.

3.6 Search results come from third-party public pages. Avatars, bios, links, and other content remain under the control of those platforms and rights holders. We retrieve and display them for search presentation and do not become the controller of that content.

4. System permissions

4.1 Network access is required for search, configuration, advertising, and notices you have enabled.

4.2 Tracking authorization, where applicable. Some operating systems may show an App Tracking Transparency prompt. Allowing or denying tracking does not prevent the Application from providing service or showing ads within the law. Denial may reduce ad relevance but is not a condition for stopping the service.

4.3 Notification permission, where applicable, is used only if you enable Watch or related notices and grant authorization. You may disable notifications in system settings.

4.4 A permission request is not a license to collect information beyond what is needed. You may refuse permissions that are not essential to core functions; only the related feature may then be unavailable or degraded.

5. Use of information

We use information for one or more of the following purposes:

  1. to run public lookups for the username and platforms you select and to display results;
  2. to store and show limited search history on the device;
  3. to recheck usernames you add to Watch and, if public information may have changed, to notify channels you configured;
  4. to protect APIs and the service, detect abnormal requests, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot;
  5. to understand usage in aggregated, anonymous, or de-identified form and to improve stability;
  6. to display ads that support operation of the Application, including rewarded video and app-open ads;
  7. to comply with law, respond to lawful requests of competent authorities, or protect the legitimate interests of us, users, and the public.

Except as required by law or with your separate consent, we will not use the information for purposes without a reasonable connection to those stated in this Policy.

6. Advertising and analytics

6.1 The Application uses third-party advertising services (including Google AdMob) to show rewarded video, app-open ads, and other ads to unlock features or support free use. SDKs may collect advertising identifiers, approximate device information, and ad interaction data, as described by those providers.

6.2 The Application uses analytics (including Google Firebase Analytics) for installs, activity, retention, and feature use. Analytics are anonymous or aggregated. We do not intentionally upload searched usernames, notification emails, or device identifiers as plaintext analytics event content.

6.3 Ad display, fill, clicks, and landing pages are provided by ad networks and advertisers. We are not responsible for the truth, legality, or subsequent transactions of third-party ads. Disputes with advertisers should be resolved between you and the advertiser.

6.4 You may manage certain identifiers through OS tracking or similar settings. Effectiveness depends on the OS and third parties. We cannot guarantee that all advertising-related processing stops immediately or completely after you change a setting.

7. Storage and transmission

7.1 Search history is stored on the device by default and is not synced to our servers as a full archive. When you search, configure Watch, or submit notification channels, related requests are sent to our servers over encrypted transport.

7.2 Watch lists, notification emails, and other channels you configure may be stored on our servers and associated with a device identifier so we can perform checks and alerts as you set.

7.3 Server access logs may be retained for a short period for security and operations, for as long as needed for those purposes, or longer if required by law or an unresolved dispute or security incident.

7.4 We do not sell your search content. Processing for hosting, backup, disaster recovery, or cloud providers remains subject to this Policy and our arrangements with those providers.

7.5 Internet transmission and storage involve residual risk. We take reasonable security measures but, beyond mandatory legal duties, are not liable for leaks caused by force majeure, telecom failure, third-party attacks, or loss, jailbreak, root, or malware on your device.

8. Sharing, transfer, and disclosure

8.1 We do not sell personal information to the public.

8.2 To fulfill this Policy, we may share information necessary for the function with processors, cloud, advertising, analytics, push, or notification providers, limited to that purpose.

8.3 In a merger, division, acquisition, or asset transfer, information may transfer as part of the transaction. We will require the transferee to continue to observe this Policy or to obtain consent required by law.

8.4 We may disclose information as required by law, litigation, arbitration, or compulsory process. Where permitted, we will limit the scope of disclosure.

9. Third-party services

9.1 Results come from public platforms. Availability, anti-bot measures, page structure, and privacy practices are decided by those platforms and may change. Missing, delayed, incorrect, or inconsistent results from such changes are not a breach by us.

9.2 The Application may use open-source lookup engines or our own capabilities. Use of an open-source project name does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by its authors.

9.3 Advertising, analytics, operating systems, app stores, email, webhook recipients, and messaging bots are independent third parties. Their processing is governed by their policies, including Google’s Privacy Policy where applicable.

10. Your rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may:

  1. delete an on-device search record on its page;
  2. change or clear notification email and other channels in settings;
  3. stop Watch and delete Watch items;
  4. manage notification, tracking, and advertising options in system settings;
  5. uninstall the Application to delete local data, except as otherwise provided by the OS or backups;
  6. request access to, correction of, or deletion of server-side data related to the service through the contact details in this Policy, except where retention is required by law or another lawful basis applies.

We will handle requests within a reasonable time after verifying identity and reasonableness. Repeated, excessive, or legally refusible requests may be declined as permitted by law.

11. Minors

11.1 The Application is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for minors below the age of legal capacity. Minors should use it only with guardian consent and guidance.

11.2 If we learn we have processed a child’s information without appropriate consent, we will delete it as soon as reasonably practicable. Guardians may contact us using the details in this Policy.

12. Cross-border transfer

12.1 Servers, cloud, advertising networks, or analytics may be located outside your jurisdiction. Information may be transferred abroad solely for the purposes in this Policy.

12.2 We will take contractual, de-identification, or other reasonable measures required by applicable law. Data protection standards differ among countries and regions.

13. Security

13.1 We apply administrative and technical measures commensurate with the service, including encrypted transport, access control, data minimization, and security logs, to reduce unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction.

13.2 No measure guarantees absolute security. If a personal-information security incident occurs, we will handle it as required by law and notify affected users or the public when legally required.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

14.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application and processing under this Policy are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or accurate results.

14.2 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from network fluctuation, third-party platform changes or limits, unfilled ads, undelivered notices, device failure, OS limits, or incorrectly configured notification channels.

14.3 Judgments, decisions, and external acts you take based on search results are solely your responsibility. Results do not determine any person’s identity, credit, character, or legal relationship.

15. Updates

15.1 We may update this Policy for business, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated version will be published on this page or in the Application and takes effect on the stated date.

15.2 Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using and uninstall the Application.

16. Contact

For questions, complaints, or requests about this Policy or personal-information processing, email codernow@163.com. We will respond within a reasonable time after verification. We may ask for information sufficient to confirm the requester’s identity.

17. Miscellaneous

17.1 Headings are for convenience only. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

17.2 If this Policy conflicts with the Terms of Use, this Policy prevails on personal-information processing; the Terms of Use prevail on other matters.

17.3 Formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall first be negotiated in good faith; failing that, they shall be submitted to the people’s court with jurisdiction at our domicile, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
